For the earlybirds amongst you  Laughing

This month the theme is

Deep Embossing

and the Craft Stamper Challenge is the Corset from the January issue.

Looks like you might be able to combine these  Laughing

well done you two -hope to do mine this afternoon.
Can you use polymer stamps for deep embossing or does the heat melt them?

You should be ok with Claritystamps Vonnie but the thinner ones like you get with the magazines could  be damaged by the heat

well that was how I intepreted it but I might be wrong -I assumed layers of embossing that are stamped into? I think the posh name is intaglio or something simialr as it gives the image in relief??  Shocked
Be interesting to hear of anyone else's interpretation tho  Smile

That's what I thought it was too.

Although there is something else using UTEE where there is a stamped image suspended between layers of UTEE.  I don't know what this method is called.
If we ever get a name for it, we could do this in the 2016 swap.   Just thinking ahead...... Wink

I thought the same as everyone else!!

Mickie - I have done what you suggested at one of Hels' workshops I think.  Hadn't thought of that as deep embossing but could be interpreted as such.

Now I'm really confused as I was thinking of using an embossing folder! Would that be okay? Margaret

My head was in embossing (i.e. wet) but not the deep stuff, but great I haven't done that for ages.
