I wondered about this but wasn't sure if it needed a massive amount of punches.  Look forward to seeing what you do on this course Jennie

I'm using a mixture of punches and die's as I've not got a great number of punches.  These are the first two cards.  I really enjoyed doing them - it is a long time since I did a card without any inking!  We used the sewing machine around all the edges, but my stitching is not great!

I love the "flying" butterflies!  Two stuck together in the middle, but only the lower one stuck to the card.

This week's project was a picture.  Mine is quite different to the tutor's but inspired by hers.  We had to use as as many different punches as possible but also as many scraps as we could.  We also sewed muslin over the paper to "dull" it down a bit.  I now have the picture in an 8 x 8 frame.

I really enjoyed this.

Jennie this is really lovely.  The flowers are interesting, was it a petal punch that you used?

Week 3 and the project this week was a scrapbook page using circles and a fair bit of sewing.   I really enjoyed this one and it took very little paper - all scraps from my box.

I love the way the tutor encourages us to look for pieces of poetry or sayings to complement our work and to provide the focus for a title.  She also suggested we try using a recent photograph, but printing it black and white or sepia.  You have to use quite different colours to complement the colours (or lack of) in the photograph.

This is the last week and we've made a card and a couple of ATCs.  I like the double punching of the cream card to make lace on the card.

I don't normally like cutting out images but this CI image works well on book paper.

I have really enjoyed this class.  It has not been particularly difficult but interesting in terms of thinking how to use punches and die cuts in different ways.
