Sorry, I know this has come up several times, but I STILL can't post a photo on my profile!  Even if I change the image size to 1 pixel by 1 pixel and to 0.1cm by 0.1cm  it tells me the photo is too big.  It is a normal Jpeg file - what am I doing wrong???  The last two times I did it by uploading my photo onto the SSP website and then taking the image from there but now the SSP site seems to have gone down I thought I'd have another go at doing it properly.  I have never had any problem at all on other sites like Facebook or the SSP one, just cannot work out what is different here - please help someone!

Thanks all!  I'm trying to resize using photoshop.  When you say you are pressing edit are you just using windows Becky? Sounds much simpler.  Am appalled that Mickie managed to lock herself out of the forum trying to help!! Sounds like you must have been doing something very dramatic Mickie.  How lucky that Miriam was around and we didn't lose you.

OK Have now followed Becky's method and resized using Microsoft Office Picture Manager (though actually the 'web' options it gives all involved making my picture bigger, not smaller as it was already so small).  But I'm still being told it's too big. And it's hardly got any pixels at all now and is tiny....

Yes, but I wanted to see if I could change it by some route other than the SSP one as that website seems to be frozen.  I removed the old one in case it was somehow stopping a new one being posted but then of course I couldn't put it back!  Thanks for the offer Vonny, if all else fails I'd do that but I would love to master the technology as I feel it just ought to work!

In Microsoft PIcture Manager is there an option to save as email or blog as I think this is smaller than web.
