Here is the next technique
Apply paint dabber to stamp press down on tag allow to dry Ink over tag using distress ink don't worry if you go over paint.Mist cloth or kitchen towel with water don't use babywipes gently swipe over image to remover top layer of ink .

Not sure I have paint dabbers -are they acrylic paint, I have loads of that?

The paint dabbers are made by Ranger and are little bottles of acrylic paint with a spongy top - there is a video on Tim's blog where he uses a dabber to do resist.  Margaret

Yes Vonny it is alot of my dabbers have dried up so I am not buying any more and just using ordinary acrylic paint.
