Sorry for the lateness but a very (belated) happy birthday Rukhshana. You share your birthday with Shakespeare and it is our saint's day - St George. Bet you knew that though! Laughing

Thank you everyone. Sorry for not replying earlier but my birthday treat was a few days away in Holland to visit Keukenhof gardens where the tulips were at their absolute best. Weather was not great but because of the cooler weather the tulip fields have only just started to be cut so we managed to see some of the amazing fields of colour. The hyacinths and narcissi fields were fading but still looked impressive. This was one of my bucket list items and was spectacular.

Apologies Vonny - I have now found the Birthday List - amazing what you find when you attempt a tidy up of your desk!  Blushing!!

Yes I did. The Dr who delivered me ( who later became the royal gynaecologist and delivered William & Harry) only visited the hospital on certain days of the week. My mother had to have a planned caesarean and so as he was booking her into his diary he realised that one of the days would be St George's day so he decided that would be a good day for my mother to have her first child!
vonny

that's a great story!
