No they are stuck to the outside of a plastic pocket. Inside is some card to keep it firm. I use Xyron repositionable glue on the back of the rubber.
for clear stamps I have stuck the acetate on the plastic folder and kept the stamps on this tho for newer ones i am keeping them upright in a box

Are those DVD cases? And have they got stamps in?
Very organised as I can see they are labelled
Beckyb

They are plastic A4 files which I got from poundland and yes there are stamps inside .

vonny

Are they the sort that have a number of plastic pockets inside?
this could be a way of micro organising mine as even tho i have an index on the outside I still often hunt for what I want.
Beckyb

No there is'nt it is just a empty A4 case I laminate the stamps packing and the stick the stamps onto that and put in case.

How true!! Laughing

My desk gets like that if I'm doing a project. I get less and less space then have to put things away or else I can't carry on!

I missed this thread - very interesting to see how you all go about storing your stamps.  I have just started mounting stamps on EZ Mount/Kling on and sticking them onto the stamp packing that I have laminated.  It works a treat so far.  However, do you store your stamps by theme or by manufacturer?

vonny

Mine are stored in order of purchase (more or less)  Shocked .Just how it has happened!
Jennie

I've just got some EZ Mount Laminated Sheets for storing stamps, they were 60p each which I thought was a reasonable price.  Trying to think of how to organise them now.
Mickie

I think I am going to stick with storing them by manufacturer and keep a log of themes, i.e Christmas. Halloween, flora, fauna, etc.

I have bought some A4 storage boxes by Tuff which are quite pricey and having seen Becky's I shall have to take myself off to Poundland do see what they can offer me!

I have written the name of manfacturer on side of box files. The others are just in a box which I flick though.

I am beginning to think whatever way is decided upon woulde only be a workable solution if we never bought another stamp Wink   Fat chance of that Rolling Eyes

In between drying sessions on my canvas I was sticking EZ foam on some of my stamps and "sticking" them to my EZ Laminated sheets.  It does work.  Yay!  Now how do I store them in my binder?  Do you put them into plastic pockets and then in the binder, or just the laminated sheet into the binder?  Do they keep falling off if you do this?
vonny

Mine are on the outside fo the pockets. A couple fall off but they haven't had the proper glue used. Can you punch the laminated sheets?
Beckyb

Some of mine fall off which is why I put them into the boxes it tends to be the smaller stamps.

Thanks for the tip Becky, will stick to boxes to be on the safe side
