Morning ladies well foggy here this morning spent yesterday looking for my anti static bag found it in my scrap box.Nothing planned for today so am going with the flow.

Am I on my own this week going into town today to do some Xmas shopping. Another dull and overcast day and bloomin cold.

It has got colder hasn't it?  Dull day here too.  You cannot see where the sea ends and the sky begins - all the same shade of grey.  However, the roof tops opposite look as though they have been covered in Glossy Accents so I guess it must be raining.  Looks very nice though and adds a little cheer to an otherwise miserable outlook

Have to go and do some Christmas shopping but cannot quite psyche myself up for it.  Maybe I will do some tomorrow as I have to go into town to find some cabin luggage.  It would appear that my trusty case is 5cm too long and 5cm too deep to be classed as such.

that's a pain mickie -bot better to find out now than when you try to get on the plane!
All pressie shopping now done -just a bit of food to get now. Like click and Collect for easy shopping and no p&p costs

Hope you sorted your case out Mickie and now have the right size where are you jetting off to.
I still have pressies to get but nearly done some are wrapped as well now have to start writing cards.
Sun shining here this morning but boy is it cold so really pleased I am staying in.

cold here too -been sitting at the pc so need to get a cup of tea to warm up!
My group finsihed their claendars yesteday and we wrote on the date for when we are visiting an art exhibiton then going for lunch (8th Jan) -might help them remember. going to make some decorations for their Xmas party next week (large snowflakes and paperchains) then the following week is party time (at a different venue).

Brr it is chilly today.  Had my first Christmas dinner last night, only four more to go!  Happily last night was not a full blown festive event, so normal food and no overeating Wink

I'm off to spend the holiday with my cousins in Germany Becky. I was lucky getting my case - it was the last one of that size in the shop where it turns out they were having a closing down sale!

Have been trying to think what crafting materials to take with me that won't take up much room and I came across a tin of watercolour pencils that I haven't used in years so was thinking of getting a small sketch pad and stamping some of the pages to get me started.  Would then just need a water brush and a pencil sharpener.

You are busy with your crafty group Vonny.  You do give them a good time; they must love coming to the meetings

It is a bit more than chilly here today we have a frost almost looks like a thin layer of snow.Glad you got your case ok Mickie I have got a small journal which I stamp some pages and take pencils with me so I make it a journal come diary when away and enjoy Christmas in Germany when I was little we use to go to Denmark for Xmas where my Mormor {Nan} and Morfar {Grandad} lived as my Mum was Danish.
You are certainly busy with your group Vonny bet they enjoy it.
Was suppose to be spending the day with a friend but not really up to it so going next weekend so having a day in

Hope your day improves Becky.

We have progressed from a really cold night (winter duvet now on) to a lovely sunshiney day!  Mind you, it is still cold.  The Michelin Man coat has come out too Wink

Have a big pot of lentil soup on the go - real downhome comfort food.

Hope you're all wrapped up warm and cosy

It's been another miserable day here - it was frosty last night but a bit milder today. I was out last night with my Citizens Advice colleagues for a Xmas dinner. The meal was okay but nothing special. I had turkey but the roast tatties were so hard I couldn't get them cut. Having had a very expensive crown put in earlier in the day I gave them a miss!

My sister and hubby are coming up on Monday for a few days - it's her 60th birthday so we'll do some celebrating!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend whatever you're doing. Margaret

hope you get a chance to go round a traditional German xmas market mickie -all those cute chalets.
I like to go out for meals but tend to avoid an actual xmas menu of I can! Forum Index -> General
