Morning all another Monday morning we have the sun shining which is nice so I can get my washing dry. Not sleeping to well and wake up early  Sad . Had a lovely time with Dad on Sat and yesterday got my atc's done so achieved something. Nothing planned for today so will go with the flow. x

A sunny morning here in Shetland too - we had a lovely trip up on the boat overnight and have got 2 loads of washing done. Holiday went really quickly and we seemed to pack a lot in. Looking forward to getting back to crafting this week.

Goodness you did managed to pack a lot in Margaret.  Nice to come home to good weather

I'm sorry you aren't sleeping so well Becky.  Gives you more crafting time though, even if you only plan your next project Wink

Summer term started at art today.  We were all a little lethargic s it is quite warm outside, bordering on the hot and the class room gets very muggy even with the windows open.  Mustn't grumble though now summer is here again we don't want it to hear us and disappear again Laughing   Just wish I could sit out in it and get a nice tan going

I'm probably being a bit dim but I cannot find the thread for the tag book Embarassed Can somebody point me in the right direction please?
margaret rorie

Mickie - the tag book seems to be in the general folder.  Don't know if it could be moved to the swaps one?

I had wondered about this -I think,Becky,  we could just start a thread there in the circle book section perhaps starting with the list of who is sending to who? I have no idea if threads can be moved

Many thanks Margret.  Just wanted to tell you that Becky's book is on its way.  Have fingers crossed your next guided house tour will be of your new home Laughing

We had heavy showers, thunder and lightening for a good part of the day today.  I went into town to meet a friend for lunch and wore my summer anorak so I wouldn't get wet and ended up soaking from the inside out!  Definitely too warm for a rainproof but I really am too old for a wet t-shirt Laughing  Laughing

that made me smile Becky but it is the problem even with breathable waterproofs.
Did some card making on Weds and used up a number of scraps and pre stamped images that have been floating around on my desk

Todayhave been washing woodwork down ready for some painting now the weather is warmer and am off to the theatre later for the Complete Works of Shakespeare.  Very Happy

There is now a link in swaps for circle journal just like to keep you on your toes  Laughing  Laughing . What with not sleeping I fell out of bed the other morning banged my elbow   and it hurt  Crying or Very sad . x

oh dear Becky -hope it feels ok now
margaret rorie

Hope your elbow is okay now Becky.

It's been another glorious day here so I spent it outside. Did some gardening then got stuck into an Icelandic crime novel. I've found a great author (Arnuldar Idridson) so am reading lots of his books. I like the detective who reminds me a little of Rebus.

I really enjoyed my first Anne Cleeve book. sounds like this is another author to watch out for  Smile

Glad you enjoyed the book - I prefer her Vera books to the Shetland ones but that's probably because she changes places around here!

Hope your elbow is better Becky - must be frightening having a fall like that.

I have enjoyed all the Anne Cleeves Shetland books but did watch Vera last night on the TV (football on everywhere else) and really enjoyed it. So perhaps I'll start reading those.

Going to check your Icelandic author Margaret! Sounds interesting. Forum Index -> General
