Becky all three tags are gorgeous.  You must be really pleased with them.

This is my final tag:

It took me three goes to get the bauble covered in something reasonable!  Details are on my blog.

Like you Mickie, although I have liked the last three tags, I thought they were a bit ordinary, especially the final tag.  I thought he was building us with with easier tags 10 and 11 for a final WOW! on Tag 12.  So I was a little disappointed, although having said that I enjoyed doing no. 12.

Have to get back to doing ordinary things each day now, like the ironing and hoovering - but its been GREAT  Very Happy

Jennie and Becky, I am just so impressed that you had a go at all 12 and were just so creative with taking his ideas and interpreting them. thanks for sharing them with us. hopefully you will take part in the challenges. i have tried to pick features from each tag and avoid being specific about dies or techniques which need a lot of specialist equipment. hopefully we will come up with some very creative things over the year.
Anyway off to post the challenge for December....2012  ANOTHER YEAR GONE  Laughing  Laughing

I think the monthly challenges will be great.  I really don't have an awful lot of Christmassy stuff, so it will be nice to do these techniques but using different themes and some of my many stamps and papers.  I may not do tags, as I think I would like to do a little book.

Do remember that half the fun of doing this is to try and come up with something out of your own stash or materials.  Once you actually start looking and thinking more laterally its amazing what ideas you can come up with.  Also don't be scared of drawing simple shapes on grungepaper instead of the ides - I have found it works very well (and I am really not good at drawing!).  I draw a grid on paper and then work within the squares.  Its amazing what you can come up with.

I would love to put my tags into "something" but haven't come up with an idea yet.  Probably I'll make a large box!

I AM VERY LUCKY to have the time to do this and I give thanks each day for that.  However, there is a horrendous pile of ironing in the spare room and the hoover nearly gave out just doing the downstairs this morning  Embarassed but I did get all the Christmas cards and presents off to the Post Office today  Smile

Jennie I think you should feel quite virtuous now that you have caught up with the domestic chores as well as completing the tags. Laughing

I am quite inspired by your tags Jennie and Becky.  Oh, and Alison.  Have been following her's too on her blog. Laughing

Really looking forward to taking part in the tag challenge and thank you to Vonny for setting it all up. Laughing

Jennie, if you are lucky the hoover will break down and you will have more crafting time!

Glad you are looking forward to the tag challenge throughout 2011. I was thinking of doing a small book too Jennie, perhaps 4x4.

Just thought you might like to know that Tim's tags are quite large - 61/4" x 3".

The first year I tried to do the tags I used my normal ones and they were far too small to try and get everything he does on them.  It is alot easier if you give yourself plenty of room.

I thought I might make my book 61/2" x 31/2" and bind them at the top so they are still sort of "tag like".
