Mickie came up with a good idea for doing swaps for next year I have grabbed a load of poetry books from my Dad and I am going to try to find a poem for each month so if any of you have a poem you would like me to use please say.I am just going to goggle The garden year

I think this is a wonderful idea, but not sure that I can commit.   I thought I might do it myself as I will probably need to play catch up now and again.

think may need to be allowed to be very wide in our intepretation as there are quite a few flowery months. -I wonder why it starts with Sept? Are we going to do it in the right order e.g Sept in Jan or pick the months to match i.e. Jan in Jan? Rolling Eyes

Vonny - the one I found started with January and was entitled "The garden year".  Thought we could use our own interpretations of each verse - artistic licence would come into play!  Margaret

Looks like I have started something - sorry I have not been around to help develop the theme.  I am happy to go with the flow on this one, of course Laughing

When you get into the individual months, the verses come clearer and do give a good basis for ideas, so we don't have to be entirely literal.  Lend ideas for backgrounds too.
