As I no longer am subscribing to CS I may not get every issue so therefore will not have the stamp to do this. I could of course just do the other 2 ATCs but also wondered about suggesting using a similar stamp/theme e.g. this month it would be an owl for the CS swap. What do people think?

I suppose that might work Vonny - you could always use the previous owl stamp assuming that you still have it Wink

The same will go for me as I was sharing the stamps with Vonny each month I'm afraid. Only thing is I'm a bit short on stamps and cant guarantee I'll have one similar to the theme. Would it be ok if I included a similar thing on there in other ways? For sake of argument, I don't have an Owl stamp but could I get away with maybe using a little picture of one I have on patterned paper?

I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with Craft Stamper as I don't like the new format. But I do love doing the ATC swap so wouldn't want that to stop. Margaret

I have been doing the masterclasses in CS and keeping the results in a scrap book.  The September Masterclass was paint and stencils and I really struggled to produce the individual exercises.  However, they did make into a cute picture/card front/Journal page.

I only persevered as I do a swap with a friend based on the Masterclasses.

what a good idea Mickie. I do return to some of the masterclasses although I often have to hunt through  for them .Think they are one of the best features.
Perhaps we need to re -think the ATCs swap then -haven't heard from Jennie yet to know her views

We have had the same swaps for quite a while now, so how about shaking it up a bit ??? We could change the CS Challenge to a techniques challenge and then those of us who want to can use the CS stamp but it would be open to interpretation. That way we could have a theme challenge and a technique challenge. What do you think ?

We will have to start thinking about next year soon. If you want to go down this route, I'll start a new thread for next year's themes  Very Happy

that sounds a great idea Jennie -and you're right we haven't changed things for a while.
i think it is sad tho that we are all currently disappointed with CS. On UK stampers there are a number of people who feel it is an improvement tho and are re-subscribing -so I guess they just can't win.

I actually quite like the new CS but admit this mag was a little bit obscure although the techniques were good. But I do appreciate it is not for everyone.

Do we all have the stamp or something similar for this month ?

I have the owl but won't be able to get it to Rachel -so perhaps she could do something owl/bird related this month if everyone is happy with this? Then perhaps we can start the techniques in November?
